AET Passes Key Rail Accreditation

Advanced Engineering Techniques Ltd is delighted to announce that it has successfully passed accreditation for the Rail Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme (RISQS) operated by the Rail Safety and Standards Board (RSSB)

The RISQS scheme was set up by RSSB to be a central portal for all buyers in the rail industry seeking approved suppliers and contractors. It helps all suppliers sell into the GB rail industry by providing an open, fair and transparent way for them to be formally recognised as capable providers of products and services.

The move further strengthens AET’s standing in the rail sector and demonstrates its willingness undergo rigorous auditing to secure relevant industry body awards.

Senior Estimator, Phil Dodds, who led the accreditation process said ‘This is an important step in AETs long term strategy to become a leading supplier in the UK and European rail sector which is forecast for unprecedent growth over the next 10 years. Rail is a key market for us as we begin to witness a resurgent rail freight sector. Economies are moving towards sustainable and low carbon footprint transport systems and being part of this scheme further strengthens our foothold in the marketplace.’
